review of first semester Masters

this is the maiden message on this blog in which I will share my experiences as a student of the Masters in International Relations offered by the Anton de Kom University of Suriname through the University of the West Indies. after some initial hickups the programme started and looking back at the first two courses, I must say the approach is quite different then the one used by Dutch universities or even the Adek university. the language has proven to be somewhat of a barrier. It's easy to express yourself in a conversation, but express yourself academically that a whole other ball game. But the approach triggered some talents which I did not even know I had.
What I liked about this, is that this method also provided me with valuable tools I now use while lecturing my own subject to the students of the Bachelor in Public Administration.
Well, this was a start, more fill follow.
